Description:
In late 2019, following the implementation of more formal brand guidelines and an updated and recolored wordmark, I began work overhauling L.A. Insurance's website to both modernize the design with the recently implemented brand and logo updates and begin implementing an SEO strategy beyond simple keywords. Over the next three years and in tandem with my build-out of the organization's internal SharePoint architecture for store and agent data, the site would come to boast a Find-an-Agent tool with the ability to direct customers not only to the nearest location, but the nearest location which had agents able to write the specific kinds of policies a customer needed. Branch pages included json+ld metadata and were updated programmatically via the WordPress API at the same time(s) as part of a synchronization flow with Yext's platform from internal SharePoint data, enabling single-touchpoint updates for branch information like hours and holidays across almost all relevant platforms (including Facebook, Yelp, Apple Maps and Google MyBusiness).
